Last weekend, Anthology ran their second Hotspot Challenge pilot. On August 12th, Union Township hosted their annual Girls Night Out event. From 6PM - 10PM residents participated in multiple workshops, tasted samples of food from local restaurants, and enjoyed live stand-up comedy. Whilst enjoying the night, visitors were encouraged to take photos and submit them to the Hotspot pin, found exclusively on Anthology's mobile app, to enter a photo mini-game contest in a quest to win cash prizes!
Anthology’s Explore catalog is home to pins called Points of Interest - community shared photogenic spots that work to inspire travel, photography, and creativity.
The company's Hotspot Challenge photo game turns these Points of Interest into Hotspots for a limited time.
At Girls Night Out, visitors submitted photos of the atmosphere, the experience at various workshops, and the live performances throughout the night. Eight participants were chosen as winners, earning a collective $1,000. Anthology is thrilled to continue paving the way for future mobile photography contests in the future.
The Girls Night Out Hotspot Challenge rolled out alongside the release of version 2.0.0. Get the mobile version of Anthology now on the App Store and Google Play.
