Today we're happy to announce the release of v3.0.1 in the Apple App and Google Play Stores!
We're using a simple naming convention to quickly recognize what is being changed in each version release of Anthology.
For new build releases that include only bug fixes we will use the following naming convention:
vX.X.Y
Where (Y) is the only number that is updated. This change will signify that a new build has applied bug fixes. We will update those bug fixes below in posts like these.
For new builds that include improvements to existing features, our team will use the following naming convention:
vX.Y.0
Where (Y) is the only number that has been changed, and the last digit has been reset to '0'. This will signal that the build includes improvements to existing features within the app that we will detail further below in blog posts such as these.
Finally, for new builds that include new features to the app, our team will use the following naming system:
vY.0.0
Where (Y) is the only number that is being changed, and the following two digits are reset to '0'. These builds will signify that new features or major changes are made to the app, which we will write about further in posts like this below.
This release of the Anthology app includes bug fixes to bring stability and security enhancements to the application.
Our engineering team has been working hard this week to make the following updates:
If you have previously created an account with us, then here are some things that you will have to do:
For new users of the app, you do not need to worry about performing any of the tasks above.
We're going to be taking a much more strategic and engaged approach to changes and updates moving forward once we finalize some of the things that we're still working on. First, here's what's still being worked on now:
Beyond this, we'll be working with you directly, the users of Anthology, to best determine what features to work on and prioritize. And we'll be doing them in a focused and efficient manner. We have some ideas that we're looking forward to sharing with you, but for now, let's begin by growing the userbase and the database of images and portfolios on Anthology.
